Jeff J. Kim co-founded No Tie Productions in order to
express his appreciation for the arts. When it comes to
developing and completing a vision, he believes in the
importance of having a solid foundation. With that
said, all of NTP’s endeavors are structured as such due to Jeff’s knowledge of budget management and contract execution. One of his goals for every project is to produce quality work by accenting each production member’s unique talent.

Currently, he is a financial advisor managing his practice in Beverly Hills, following a career with UC Santa Barbara Athletics and Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.  Jeff graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Music and minor in Sport Management while attending UC Santa Barbara. A native of S. Korea, he currently resides in Los Angeles where he enjoys the view of the Pacific Ocean everyday from someone else’s backyard.

Candice Thompson is a comic and writer that was born in Queens raised in Cincinnati and currently resides in Los Angeles. She is the perfect mix of both East and West coasts with just a hint of Midwest street cred. She comes from an ethnically mixed family with both of her parents being of African-American, Native American, and Caucasian descent. Candice knew she was destined to tell jokes, which is why she hand-picked parents with such diverse backgrounds. She wanted no race to be off limits for her comedy and often regrets overlooking the race she makes fun of the most—Mexican.

After moving to LA she studied improv at both Groundlings and The Second City. You may have seen her performing sketch comedy as a member of the “Comedy Playground” at the Los Angeles Laugh Factory. To date, she has performed stand-up at such venues as the world famous Laugh Factory, Comedy Store, LA Improv, and Pasadena Ice House.

Candice’s love for writing and creating has flourished since moving to LA. In 2009 she and business partner, Jeff Kim, made one of her scripts, Infidelity, come to life and it was one of her most fulfilling experiences. Through NTP, she looks forward to creating more relevant projects and sustaining other artist’s visions and reveries.
